App Description
Add the New York Lotto iPhone app to your iOS device and you’ll always be up to date with the latest lottery numbers from the Empire State. It gives you a quick and easy way to see the results for your favorite draw games.
The app is free to download and can be used on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. You’ll notice as soon as you launch it that you can set it up to fit in with how you play. Select the lotteries you want to follow from the wide choice of games available in New York - Lotto, Powerball, Mega Millions, Cash4Life, Win 4, Take 5, Pick 10 or Numbers.
Rank your lotteries in the order you want them to display on the app. The home screen will show you the latest numbers for each game as soon as a drawing has happened, together with extra information about how much the jackpot is currently worth. The ‘Draw Details’ button will bring up all the payouts for the latest game.
Here’s what other features the app provides:
Ticket Checker
The Checker is a tool that can be used in a couple of different ways to save you the hassle of studying the winning numbers after a draw. If you’re just looking to check a one-off set of numbers that you won’t be using again - such as a Quick Pick - then the ‘Quick Check’ option is ideal. You just need to choose your numbers in the grid provided and the app will show you whether you have won a prize in recent draws.
The other option in the Checker is to ‘Add a Ticket’. Once you have selected your numbers, you are then able to save them to the app. The advantage here is that you don’t have to select your numbers again after every drawing - the app will just tell you once you open the Checker if you have won. It’s a great idea to save tickets if you play multiple lines or like to keep faith with the same lucky numbers.
Number Generator
Use the Generator if you want to create a set of random lotto numbers. It doesn’t matter if you are a fan of Lotto, Powerball, Mega Millions, Cash4Life, Take 5 or Pick 10, you can turn the Generator to any game by selecting your preferred option from the top of the screen. One tap will instantly produce a selection of numbers, which you can save to the Checker if you are happy with it. Alternatively, keep generating as many times as you like.
Choose Your Notifications
The New York Lotto app allows you to decide what type of notifications you want to receive. A lot of this will depend on which games you play and what you want to know about. It may be that you want to get alerted about the latest Take 5 results, when the Lotto jackpot has got up to a specific level or when Powerball has rolled over 10 times. There are all sorts of options and you can customize the notifications easily so that you never miss out on anything that is relevant to you.
Results History
You can see previous winning numbers for all your games with the New York Lotto iPhone app. Prizes expire one year after a draw has taken place, but you can even go further back thanks to the easy access to result archives. For example, you could even find the winning numbers from the very first Lotto draw in 1978 in just a few seconds.
The New York Lotto app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices running iOS 10.0 or later. It is available for free from the App Store.
